Thank you to our fundraising volunteers

Everyone on the BCG Committee would like to say a big thank you to members (and their friends) who generously donated their time and effort to our fundraising events over the past year.

Our Bunnings barbecues in June and September were a great success. We had fantastic result from selling sausage sangas with lunchtime volunteers being run off their feet with demand. The cake stalls also significantly boosted our profit as homemade treats sold out quickly. From these two days we now have over $3000, more than double our efforts last year! This money will be put back into the running of the garden and keep membership fees low.

The Biggest Morning Tea also benefited from our volunteer's attention - just over $400 was raised for The Cancer Council, continuing our association with this important organisation.

More opportunities for volunteering and fundraising with the garden will be available next year
