We get a lot of questions about whether the Garden accepts scraps from the community to be composted. The answer is yes!
If you've got some kitchen scraps to pass on, drop them near our (newly painted) front gate.
To make composting easier it's be preferable to get the scraps in a reusable container, which will be placed back outside the gate once empty. Plastic bags are best avoided as they create more waste for us that's difficult to get rid of.
There are also a few tips in the pictures below about what's good (and not so good) to be leaving at the gate.
